Whew!...Now that I have cleared the ice out of my saxophone... Saturday night at the Mansfield Motorsports Speedway was the outdoor season opener for the Red Ball Jets. First of all we must say sorry for the technical problems that occurred. It was reported to us that water had accumulated in the sound equipment and caused the problems. When finally the rain had stopped, and even though the temperature was still pretty cool, die-hard rock and roll fans showed up and had a good time anyway. Budweiser dignitaries were in the camp to support us and also our friends Jimmy and John from "Street Fox"! We have to send a shout out to "Itchy Poodle"; once again your sound was excellent! Thanks for playing "Roller Coaster", that tune brings back good memories! OHH and that song called "Coat Tails" was killer!! A special Hoo-ya! for the guys drinking the beer thru the parking cone. That was pretty nasty! You the fans were the light at the end of the tunnel for us once again. We want to say thanks for hanging in there while the problems were being worked out...and oh yes!, to the lady in the Pittsburgh Steelers jacket, I want your jacket!
