Hey! We really had a fun filled time at the "Moosestock VI" Party in Celina, Ohio. This is an outdoor community party put on by the Celina Moose Lodge. They estimated 5,000 people would come...And they came by land, by boat via the Grand Lake, and some were in aircraft overhead. This is an amazing event and we were ready to enjoy the day! There were three bands performing and we were placed to go on second! This was a treat for us because it gave us the opportunity to do some PR work and also check out the other bands more intensely. This was our first public outdoor show in Celina, so we wanted to mingle and meet as many people as we could. The bands Allison Ditch and Free Rider were a-rockin' and laying down the grooves while the crowd watched in delight. It was an excellent show and the fellowship between the bands was fantastic...Oh yes the comedy! Our dear friend Chuck (also booking agent) brought his pontoon boat over and docked it, so we had a place to relax and hangout when we finished performing. Thanks again to all of our Burkettsville, Coldwater, and Celina friends and fans for "hooking us up" again with all the luxuries that a band could want.
      Anyway our pal "Jigs" misjudged his footing and stepped off of the pontoon dock into the Grand Lake in Celina! We still cannot figure how he went completely under in only three feet of water! When they pulled him out I think he still had his beer in his hand! At first we thought he was injured, (his pride was bruised) but after he said he was o.k. Then the comedy began. His friends and family was really letting him have it. He finally named himself, (The dead man a-walking). Every time we come out to this part of the state, we have some of the best comedy experiences. "The Moosestock Community Festival" we hope to see you in 2005...This is another thumbs up event...Backline Out!
