THE BEER BARREL SALOON - PUT-IN-BAY, OHIO
Beer Barrel Saloon, Put-In-Bay, Ohio. This show was number three for 2005, it was another grand time. It was the weekend for the Admiral Perry Victory Salute and the island was full of tourists. The Toledo Symphonic Orchestra was at the monument performing with military men in full dress going thru their drills. We had members of the 179th Air Guard Unit out of Mansfield, Ohio with us this weekend plus a few from the US Navy based out of Pearl Harbor. Over at the Saloon "Giddy-up" Dave from "The Den" was in attendance. With him came Larry "The Soup Nazi" Thomas From Seinfeld spending time and enjoying the islands. Mike Berry and the team from Budweiser came up to make it a weekend that was really great! Thanks for the head-butt Mike!
The 2nd weekend of September always means a golf outing, This the site for the RBJet Open II! Ty, Jim and Bob were the winners of this years prize. Fans from Mercer County came up to "celebrate good times" and to enjoy Beer Barreland. Friday they invited us to thier cabin for some grub and brew, thank you all! Also this weekend the shows included a salute to the victims of Sept. 11th and to our troops in arms! God bless you all. During the Texas, Ohio State game there was a special treat, "Script Ohio" performed by Kyle, Ron, Scott and Jeremie, with Scott Cain dotting the "I"....Over all another great weekend on the bay!...."Welcome back my friends, to the show that never ends".
