Friday was pretty brutal weather-wise. They had stopped the ferry early because Lake Erie was so turbulent. The crowd was pretty light for the Beer Barrel and the management was worried about the attendance for Saturday. The next night with the winds slowing and the Halloween Bash in the air, "they came out at night!" Saturday was off the hook! Our show went pretty well as we open up the night. "The Menus" were "on the money" with their show and the crowd was fully pleased with all of the entertainment. I have to tell you now, if you get a chance next year, come on up to the Beer Barrel Saloon for their Halloween Bash! You will not believe the fun! I sending out a "hoot" out to Don and Lisa, the police-woman who hand-cuffed me, and also to sound engineer Joe for keeping the "phantom power" alive on the saxophone.
