Welcome home Red Ball Jets. That is what the sign said out front as we drove into the city of Millersburg, Ohio. We perform here twice a year and this time it was without incident and we had a lot of fun! Our dear friends from Burkettsvile, Ohio came all the way from out west to visit and party with us. Kyle held the "End of the Summer" rbjet cookout and invited about 30 close friends and relatives. The food was very tasty and the Bud was a-flowin'! At the show later that night we were pleased to meet the people in charge of the Red Ball Jet Cruise set for November 2005. We hope everyone that we care about and know will be able to go along with us on this experience! Hey if I was Oprah I would pay everybody's way....but, alas, I do not have the paper she does! Houston, Texas was in the house Saturday night when an official from Budweiser showed up and surprised us. He told us to keep up the good work and play responsibly! All in all folks this has been a fabulous summer and we have to send a 'shout out' to the club owners and to the festival coordinators who think of us when they want live rock and roll at their events! This has been a truly 'thumbs up' year musically, but it is not over yet! Scott and Elvin....of the Backline.....We're Out!
